Season of Giving: St Andrews Appeal 2022-23

Help fund Wardlaw Scholarships during this cost of learning crisis

“I know these are difficult times for many people, and your contributions to scholarships are even more valued by those who rely on financial support now. Words cannot describe how grateful I am!” ~ Christina Roald, second year MA (Hons) Ancient History

Students hoping to go to St Andrews urgently need your support, perhaps more than ever before. Thanks to alumni generosity, we were able to increase the number of scholarships last year by 24%. However, we were still only able to help 39% of those who applied for a UK scholarship, and 4% of those who applied for an overseas scholarship. Please help fund a life-changing Wardlaw Scholarship so we can continue to welcome exceptional students from all backgrounds.

Thanks to you, a bright student, who would otherwise struggle financially to accept their place, could receive a world-class St Andrews education. They will experience the unique traditions that you remember so fondly and make this such a special place.

My sincere thanks for any gift you are able to give, and my very best wishes for the festive season.

Clare Peddie

Vice-Principal Education (Proctor)

PS Please note that gifts received online or post-marked before 31 December 2022 will be logged and acknowledged as received in the 2022 tax year.
